Family Fun Fair & Baby Welcoming Ceremony

Enjoy a fun filled morning with a petting zoo, pony rides, arts and crafts, reptiles and scrumptious food. Each new baby that has arrived in the community over the past twelve months will receive a Welcoming Certificate, sapling and gift bag. Parents can plant their sapling to commemorate their new baby and watch as they bothy grow, providing for the future prosperity of the Hinchinbrook Shire. 

First 5 Forever is an early literacy program delivered by public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres with the primary aim of providing strong early literacy foundations for all Queensland children aged 0-5.
